Fruit Trees
The fruit trees that we carry are chosen for hardiness, vigor, and fruit production abilities. Most all of our fruit trees are grown from bare-root stock right here at the nursery, over-wintered outside, and are ready for Wyoming's tough spring weather.
NOTE: Many fruit tree types need a cross-pollinator, a second tree of the same type but a different variety that blooms at approximately the same time. Crabapples and apples will cross-pollinate each other provided they bloom at the same times. (Pollination Chart)
Semi-dwarf trees will grow to be about 60% of the size of a standard tree, and will bear fruit in 3 to 4 years, standard trees will bear fruit in 5 to 6 years. Both will produce the same size of fruits.
