An upright densely branched perennial with long spike of peas-shaped flower from mid-late spring. Baptisia prefers full sun with averge, dry to medium moist soils, tolerate poor soils and drought. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden, is deer and rabbit resistant.
