Dicentra (Bleeding Heart)
An old fashioned favorite an any shade garden. Bleeding hearts bloom from early summer until fall with pink and white heart shaped flowers, that attract bees, butterfiles and hummingbirds. Plant in part sun (morning sun) to shade, in well-draining evenly moist soil. Bleeding hearts work well in shade gardnes, woodlang plantings and at the front of the perennial bed. Deer and rabbit resistant, attract bees and butterflies.
