Clematis

Clematis vines are a versatile long lived, and known for their vibrant blooms. Bloom times vary by species, but typically bloom from late spring to fall. Clematis thrive in full sun to partial shade but need at least 6 hours of sun. They prefer consistently moist (not soggy) well-draining soil. Clematis prefer to have cool roots and the crown of the plant shaded, make sure to mulch around the base of the plan. They are deer resistant and atrractor bees and butterflies to the garden. Ideal for trellises, fences and arbors.
