Sempervivum ( Hen & Chicks)

Hen & Chicks are primarily gown for their attractive foliage, drought tolerance and deer resistance. The mother rosette spreads in all directions by horizontal stems to form offsets (chicks), each offset forms roots and become an independent plant. In summer an upright flower stalk will rise from the center fo the rosette and bears showy flowers. Perefers full sun, dry to medium moisture, sandy or gravely soils. Easy to grow, low maintenance perennial for rock gardens, and other hot sunny locations, deer resistant.
