Sage
Sage is a tender perennial in our area that may come back if planted in a protected area. Sage is widely used in culinary and medicinal applications. It thrives in full sun, prefers well-drained sandy soils, and is drought tolerant. Sage is a staple for flavoring poultry, stuffing, sausages, soups and roasted veetables. It attracts bees and butterflies to the garden while deterring pests like cabbage moths.
