Serviceberry
Serviceberries can be a small shrub, or tree that are valued for their early spring blooms, edible berris and attractive foliage. The thrive in full sun, prefer well-drained, evenly moist soils. The berries, which ripen in early summer, are sweet and can be eaten fresh or used in jams, jellies, pies and wines.
