Strawberry
Strawberries are a relatively easy plant to grow, with the proper preparation. Strawberries, like well-draining, rich soils, with even moisture, and regular fertilizations. You can even grow them in containers, hanging baskets, or raised garden beds. Give your strawberries plenty of room to grow, plant them about 16-18" apart, allowing room for the runners to root. Isolating the mother plant to three or four runners will produce the best crops. When planting bareroot strawberrys be sure not to bury the crown of the plant. Proctect the plants with netting or the birds will beat you to your bountiful harvest.
